keeping aside my personal opinions about the company and who is running it, i feel that this is being blown out of proportion. as already outlined, this is a standard practice in other context for any "fast-moving" tech company. the only reason we are discussing it is due to a pop culture reference. this is a lot of energy wasted which can be better spent on the bigger picture.
