OpenSCAD doesn't work with B-reps. The industry works with STEP/sld_prt/etc. files. It meets the needs of some 3D printing applications, but for generating parts procedurally with python, I've found it far more fruitful to generate DXF files procedurally and use these as driving sketches for geometry.
