Don't forget in-vehicle Wi-Fi access points, which are active in most modern cars/trucks. Plus you can't "opt out" as these are usually fixed names (you can't append "_nomap")
- banish-m4 2y agoBluetooth MAC address is also a means of tracking individual customer phones. If a car supports bluetooth, that's another way to track it also.
- cpeterso 2y agoSince MAC address ranges are allocated to different vendors, Google and Apple could choose to not report the locations of certain vendors’ devices, such as Starlink or known transportation APs.
