The point I think MS misses is that the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite based devices likely won't be as popular as x86 PCs unless MS/Windows pulls of a Rosetta-type migration and execute a plan to discontinue support for x86. If the platform is always 2nd class with limited application support, it will have lower adoption numbers.
