I've set it up for an elderly person, and it backfired terribly — they lacked dexterity to reliably turn it on and off, forgot the feature existed, and then one day accidentally zoomed in screen by only a few percent, and though the phone broke, because "the status bar has disappeared".

That I think is a different feature. I am talking about the one that changes the resolution of the phone, essentially. Display & Brightness -> Display Zoom
