Same problem BDS has. Quite a few products from Palestine are shipped through Israel and with that get an Israeli flag. But I guess those Palestinians are supposed to suffer too since the collaborate with the arch enemy anyway. There is extremism in Israel and it is on the rise due to constant conflicts and there is also room to criticise Israel for. But recent times have shown that a lot of grievances are purely idiotic in the worst possible way. Also self-centered and actually not helpful for Palestinians at all. This attempt to exclude Israeli academicians really fits into this picture. But sure, why think about something constructive and be helpful to the situation if you also can just vent your misdirected emotional needs.
