Story of why Elon Musk fired the entire Tesla Supercharger staff
- vsaustraliabtc 2y ago[flagged]
- fl0id 2y agolol and you think that’s getting better with the whole team gone?
- rwmj 2y agoEven if a manager is incompetent, you wouldn't fire the entire team of 500 people under them.
- theGeatZhopa 2y agoIt's better to ask why this way and not the other first. I can imagine they choose that locations on purpose. So, to know why may make it understandable. In my opinion.
- happymellon 2y agoI wouldn't be surprised if it comes out that he just fired everyone because she declined to have his babies. He probably even offered her a horse.
- maximus-decimus 2y agoI just can't take seriously an article with a picture like that. It's like they're trying to make it look like a sith lord.
- mint2 2y agoReading the article, the picture is appropriate, musk is a petulant micromanager who is allergic to people with differing opinions and demands dumb unquestioning loyalty. He apparently wants goons not experts. the firing of the charging team really shows the board has let musk wreck havoc for far too long. Business wise the move was absurdly bad. Musk is going to run tesla into the ground over petty grievances and his increasing nonsensical reasoning
- maximus-decimus 2y agoOf course reading the article, the picture will look appropriate. that's my point, I don't even need to read it to know it's gonna be just a hit piece on Musk. It's as if the headline was "I HATE ELON MUSK AND THINK HE'S A PIECE OF SHIT". At that point, reading the article is just circle jerking because there's nothing more to say.
- pfannkuchen 2y agoNot as bad as the ones where they use a photo of someone speaking mid sentence so their face looks oddly contorted. It’s getting really common for people the media don’t like.
- maximus-decimus 2y agoI would say it's equally bad, but yeah you do see a lot of that in politics for sure.
- vr46 2y agoMaybe he is a cretinous manchild, maybe not. It seems that way, even without the full story.
- justinclift 2y agoIf this keeps happening we're going to need a "killedbymusk.com" website, to match the "killedbygoogle.com" one. :(
- justinclift 2y agoHmmm, "firedbymusk.com" would probably be better.
- cainxinth 2y agoHe fired them because they were expensive and provide only long term benefits, and he wants desperately to shore up Tesla’s finances right this second to secure his $50b payday.

- more_corn 2y agoI wonder if he laid on his back and kicked his heels on the ground like a two year old having a tantrum. Interesting look for the richest man in the world. This might be more a sign of failed late stage capitalism than anything else.
- renegade-otter 2y agoMusk has always been a "hit and run" manager - he would give a task to a team, pull a deadline out of his ass, and go do something else. Be very afraid, however, if he starts taking active interest in the business. You can give him credit for eccentric bold ideas and risk taking, but he is a horrible, incompetent micromanager.
