  yes, by forcing logouts due to cross-domain/cookie issues, it will hurt engagement metrics and cause all sorts of other problems. If not broken, do not fix, as it's said .

  Demanding $50B in stock in a publicly traded company that's down by more than half from its peak in the middle of a botched product launch, two if you count Semi as an ongoing botch, is arguably worse, or at least costlier. If only because a rocket that requires 15 fuel service launches to get beyond Earth orbit is still private and has Saudi money valuing it at $150B post in a round where they get 0.5% of the cap table for their money. Elon's only competition is Elon.
