- NotSammyHagar 2y agoThe story says one reason to hack and steal the log book is there is some PII (personal identifying information, aka say your email address). That could connect some personal id. Anyway, there is another reason you should probably always register with some kind of different anon email address. It's a pain, get some tool to remember that foo12381@somedomain.com is your arrl email.
