I'm in the same boat. I work as a data engineer but am completely burnout in this field. I don't think moving to other companies will fix because I already moved a few times. I do have a few side projects but they are mostly tutorial/textbook oriented so no match for real projects. Plus the burnout is also hurting them. I don't know how to get into low level programming job with such a small profile. I wish OP good luck. Maybe you can find a position in current company?
