It's not even a sophisticated scam. How long have crypto scams being going on and why do people still fall for the same ones? The human brain really does seem to have a "get free stuff" logic override mode.
At the very least they could offer to trim armour at the same time.
- MaxikCZ 2y agoReminds me EVE Online most basic scam: "Quitting EVE, send ISK and I will send back double". Often times increasing multiplier if you send big sum. I always wondered how many people can fall for it, but given how prevalent the scam was (chat in main trading star system was 50% this scam back in days), I assume non-zero. I guess it targets new players, but they have the least amount of ISK to be robbed off, I am still surprised it was/is worth the effort.
