I suspect it would be better long-term for the government to let Boeing fail and be replaced with another American company or two. They’re definitely acting too big to fail.
- dotcoma 2y agoHas the American government ever done something like this? Not with banks; nor with car companies.
- Zigurd 2y agoRealistically it would be a forced restructuring of some kind. The defense part is enough to guarantee TBTF status. "Replacing" a commercial airliner maker would take 20 years.
