In my opinion the last thing the world needs is a system that is so complex that only a few people can implement it. I would go farther and take the position that any email system that cannot be self-hosted is not worth the effort.
I am much more interested in a conglomeration of selfhosters.
- throwaway2037 2y agoThis completely ignores the issue of trust, which explains why the market is so concentrated. In the current system, there are no financial penalties to spamming, like landline spam in Germany.
