I keep my badge in my pocket since the clip occasionally wears out, and I don't think anyone has ever commented on this.
- ghaff 2y agoProbably depended how security conscious where you worked was. Pretty common into at least to 80s was a clip that attached to your front shirt pocket which pretty much everyone had and badge readers weren’t mostly a thing. If security were laxer you often just kept the badge in your pocket. But as another comment notes you didn’t tend to just keep your badge in your wallet.
