- rurban 2y agoNot more evil than people denouncing macros (metaprogramming) as evil. You have to know the limits and pitfalls and do not do such stupid things as the author. E.g. Common Lisp went fine without hygienic macros and is still used. Despite schemers crying all over such evilness. C went fine with CPP macros and is still dominant. Despite C++ crying all over preferring their "superior" template syntax.
