Senators studied AI for a year. Critics call the result 'pathetic.'
- alephnerd 2y agoThe critics in mention are annoyed by the lack of mention about AI Bias: "But civil society leaders were frustrated that the road map only made a cursory mention of AI bias, amid widespread concerns that the technology can replicate and exacerbate harmful stereotypes" AI Bias becomes a First Amendment issue, which is detracts from the larger mission of incubating R&D capacity for the AI/ML space, which was the primary goal of the Senate Working Group. Also, it's staffers who read and write these - not the Senators themselves.
