More like: Companies who decided to build their buisness on open source offerings are having trouble monetizing. I find this irony extremely pleasing. Those who discarded GPL freedoms in the name of corporate adoption, are now complaining that companies are using their software and not giving back anything. I would love to say "well you had it coming", but honestly I just think this article is a PR move for such open source organizations to attract money, a cry for funding. I'm sure they'll be fine (at least the critical ones)
