FCC Chairwoman Proposes Internet Routing Security Reporting Requirements [pdf]
- betaby 2y agoUseless bureaucracy "It proposes to require that all broadband providers develop plans for implementing BGP security measures, and that a select number of the largest broadband providers would file those plans with the Commission as well as file quarterly data reports." No need to file any nonsense. NIST measures that data since forever. I know that HN/reddit loves the 'new' FCC and such, but no, we don't need FCC involved in routing protocols. Also world is over 50% RPKI enabled, and traffic wise that correspond to over 80%. Source https://rpki-monitor.antd.nist.gov/ https://rpki-monitor.antd.nist.gov/
