It seems like this involves highly local politics with "sides" that don't cleave to the normal sides we outsiders understand. Am I wrong?

- barfbagginus 2y agoWell, what we normally expect in the States is a right wing shooter going after a left wing target. But here the target was a right wing politician, and the shooter was a right wing shooter. So it's actually kind of a funny change in scenery, in a way! But maybe a little baffling, yes!
