I think people expect more from Apple moment to moment because of their storied history then their identity really aspires to release at a rate of. At the same time, there is probably some place for a change of strategy if they did want to be awe inspiring to the masses still and not just dependable. If Apple wants to keep bringing awe inspiring consumer products out, they can’t just be late to make technology products non technical, they need to be investing and releasing new technology earlier. Their historic influence on the industry means new technology today takes being consumer ready seriously from the start.
