I agree that AI gets a lot wrong, and it doesn't seem to be too great at reasoning either. Potentially more dangerous is how it repeats the lies we tell ourselves. Bits of cognitive dissonance may be something that we can ignore enough to live with, but what happens when learning algos have their tentacles in a lot of different systems & have the potential for wide-reaching consequences, and they're being taught the same lies?
