AI should be applied towards the mundane tedious tasks that people dont want to do or would rather not do. Example: cleaning public toilets. While this is more a robot thing it does require AI. AI is a tool. I feel its the attitude of the big players wielding those tools that is more the problem. Instead of applying AI to tedius unpleasant tasks they seem to want to go for the more creative tasks that we would classify as "The Arts". It seems the big players were applying AI to purely cut Labor costs.
