    I think the journalists are punching down. they have far more institutional power than some twitter shit poster.

      It's neither up nor down. Journalists are paid to punch. Period. That's their reason for existing. The fourth estate is supposed to keep us informed.

          Sadly you're right in an increasing number of cases. There are standout smaller outlets which are still upholding their duties, but for the most part billionaire owned media does the bidding of the money. A lot of it is our fault. We continue to support the billionaire class, without worrying about the consequences. Mostly out of fear I guess.
