The Donald Glover segment might be a new low for Google announcement videos. They spent all this time talking up the product but didn't actually show what he had created.
Imagine how bad the model must be if this is the best way Google can think of selling it.
- fakedang 2y agoWhat seems worse is the Google TextFX video with Lupe Fiasco? What the heck am I supposed to get out of watching boring monologues by a couple of people? They could have just as easily shown, with less camera work, Lupe Fiasco actually using the LLM model, but they didn't - or at least not enough to grab my attention in 2 minutes. Personally, I liked the above link, even as a Google skeptic, but the videos aren't helping their case.
