Maybe it is something like a small planet that has a giant ring complex that happens to be aligned perpendicular to us?
- astrolx 2y agoUsually, you would see the sign of this in the data - because we can actually detect the gap between the planet and eventual rings. But if the gap is extremely small, then it could be a possibility.
