Convenience always wins. Of course an employee could upload documents one at a time to chatgpt and ask questions, but having a shared environment with your corporate knowledgebase (Notion, Slack, Drive, etc.) is going to be much more convenient. It's like saying Slack isn't super useful because you can already send messages and files by email. Now who knows if this particular product will win, since there's probably a hundred similar products on the market. But I'm confident some variant of "gpt wrapper for business" will do quite well.
