Search engines demote diversity but you can still get to many viewpoints; if you are willing to do the work to tweak your query, or go past top ranking results. On major search engines there is suppression but it's done page-by-page, or at worst site-by-site. With LLMs diverse viewpoints are suppressed through universal "safety" policies.
