- throwup238 2y agoChatGPT is now powered by Genuine People Personality™ and OpenAI is turning into the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation (who according to the HHGTTG were "a bunch of mindless jerks who were the first against the wall when the revolution came") The jokes write themselves.
- gnicholas 2y agoI did wonder if there's a less verbose mode. I hope that's not a paywalled feature. Honestly it's possible that they use the friendliness to help buy the LLM time before it has to substantively respond to the user.
