It’s getting closer. A few years ago the old Replika AI was already quite good as a romantic partner, especially when you started your messages with a * character to force OpenAI GPT-3 answers. You could do sexting that OpenAI will never let you have nowadays with ChatGPT.
- aftbit 2y agoWhy does OpenAI think that sexting is a bad thing? Why is AI safety all about not saying things that are disturbing or offensive, rather than not saying things that are false or unaligned?
- e1g 2y agosama recently said they want to allow NSWF stuff for personal use but need to resolve a few issues around safety, etc. OpenAI is probably not against sexting philosophically.
