I’m not letting a Lenovo product on my home network, even if I was given one for free.
- TheAmazingRace 2y agoThe Superfish controversy was from years ago. Plus, that didn't even affect ThinkPads! This is just some tilting at windmills for the sake of it.
- throwaway5959 2y agoAll the same, I’d rather not take that chance and prefer MacOS. No need to downvote me just because you don’t think it’s an issue to be concerned about (security).
- TheAmazingRace 2y agoHey, you pays your money and you takes your choice. I certainly am not critical of those that prefer Apple products. But wipe the SSD on the ThinkPad and install some Linux-based OS on it, and you're rocking and rolling. No weird phoning back to the mothership behaviors either. Again, I'm simply pointing out that you can be just as secure with a ThinkPad.
