Super Mario 64's "Unopenable" Door Opened After 28 Years
- CM30 2y agoIt surprised me that this was actually a working door that could be interacted with from both sides. I honestly expected there to be no loading zone on this side at all, like there usually isn't in games where a door isn't meant to be used from a certain side.

- archgoon 2y agoThere's an interesting underlying philosophy of what constitutes a 'hack' and what constitutes a 'glitch' here. Both are clearly going against what was intended by the original developers, and if you push a 'glitch' far enough you can reprogram the entire game. I suspect that the line is one of those fun fuzzy ones.
