I feel like I straddle the spectrum and would agree with op. I grew up in the 90s, worked in tech all my life and will tell you about the wonderful time and amazing experiences I have with people who quite literally live in VR But I also recognise that the happiest most alive times in each year are when tech goes away and people are the focus. When power is out and we all gather to play board games, when we gather in the countryside and talk until the camp fire burns out. Inside of tech and out I’d encourage people to focus on their connection with others if they feel something missing in their life
