That's what Putin said were his reasons. Does that mean they actually were the reasons?
- xeornet 2y agoCan you provide another reason? Something that isn’t: “he’s an evil madman”. That’s all we hear in the news.
- racional 2y agoYou don't have to parse this in terms of cartoonish stereotypes or opposing extremes. But if you look at his background, his statements (in the large) and the evolution of his career -- it's pretty obvious what the guy is, and what he stands for. As regards Ukraine, a review of Russia's relations with neighboring countries over the past 400 years will provide further context.
