The best signal to remove TSLA from your portfolio was that it was propped by up low interest rates, meme traders, Musk's over-promises, lack of competition, and US govt subsidies.
If I'd ever bought it, I would've sold it as soon as Musk fully revealed himself to be a con and lunatic (sometime before the purchase of Twitter).
Still holding TSLA until today is either gambling or stupidity.
- ulfw 2y agoThat and the fact that TSLA is nothing but an Elon Reeve Musk enrichment machine based on the hype of the day he keeps chasing. What was Tesla supposed to be? Electric Vehicles! No, a Solar Company! No, a Full Self Driving experience! No, a Crypto DOGEcoin meme! No, a charging standard and market leader! No, a robotaxi! No, an AI company! Add Musk's other bullshit like putting Teslas into tiny tunnels, 'hyperloop', 'Mars', flame throwing toys or whatever and you got yourself a hype machine to do nothing but prop up his stock. Must really suck to work there (for those who still do).
