Tesla's profitable Supercharger network in limbo after Musk axed the entire team
- nick__m 2y agoThis news went under the radar of most media outlets yet I think that it is one of the clearer signals to remove TSLA from your portfolio.
- smt88 2y agoThe best signal to remove TSLA from your portfolio was that it was propped by up low interest rates, meme traders, Musk's over-promises, lack of competition, and US govt subsidies. If I'd ever bought it, I would've sold it as soon as Musk fully revealed himself to be a con and lunatic (sometime before the purchase of Twitter). Still holding TSLA until today is either gambling or stupidity.
- ulfw 2y agoThat and the fact that TSLA is nothing but an Elon Reeve Musk enrichment machine based on the hype of the day he keeps chasing. What was Tesla supposed to be? Electric Vehicles! No, a Solar Company! No, a Full Self Driving experience! No, a Crypto DOGEcoin meme! No, a charging standard and market leader! No, a robotaxi! No, an AI company! Add Musk's other bullshit like putting Teslas into tiny tunnels, 'hyperloop', 'Mars', flame throwing toys or whatever and you got yourself a hype machine to do nothing but prop up his stock. Must really suck to work there (for those who still do).
- peutetre 2y ago> In February, Tesla started granting automakers access. The chargers were opened to other automakers in Europe long before that. But even in Europe Tesla could have and should have opened them sooner. Closed infrastructure is a dumb outcome for everyone.
