What bugs me is the exaggeration about food waste. How can we deal with a problem, f we don't know the true scope of it? Where I live, if you feed leftovers to your dog, that counts as food waste. As if the dog wouldn't have to eat something else? Peel a carrot, and the peel is food waste. WTF? Such strict definitions are counterproductive, because we cannot judge the actual extent of the problem.
