Why is it that we don't see tonnes of Chinese ICE cars though? They've had many more years to catch up.
Sure the Chinese electric vehicles will take over in China but why would they take over in the US?
- pheatherlite 2y agoICE is way more complicated than pure ev. Making it reliable and dependable and then building a brand takes time. Whereas strapping a motor to wheels and updating the controller via software is a way more forgiving model

- ein0p 2y agoYou do see a lot of them, just not in the US and Europe. IIRC about half of BYDs production are not EVs
