IMO it's kind of silly and mentally corrosive to think of everything you do in these kind of transactional terms. I post on reddit because I find it enjoyable. I am not doing "work" that I think I deserve to be compensated for. Not every POST request I make to someone's server should be accompanied by a bill for my labor.
