You should try a MacBook Pro someday. It would still last all day with that workload. I had an XPS at work and it would last 1.5 hrs. My Apple laptop with the same workload lasts 6-8 hours easily. I never undocked the dell because of the performance issues. I undock the mac all the time because I can trust it to last.
- averageRoyalty 2y agoI have a 2 year old high spec Macbook Pro with less load than the GP and rarely can get > 3 hours out of it.

- averageRoyalty 2y agoNothing too crazy I don't think. A bunch of standard Electron applications, a browser, a terminal - that's pretty much it. Sometimes Dockers, but I always kill it when I'm done.
