I don’t have particularly strong emotional reaction, but IMO the ad is horrible. Destroying functional stuff with a hydraulic press is a waste of planet’s resources. Destroying musical instruments, sculptures and other cultural artifacts is not too far from burning books, it’s barbaric. Finally, I believe the ad is misleading because the ipad not gonna survive the press either. It’s just a consumer electronic device which doesn’t even have IP68 water protection.
