Postgres CAN read from parquet using parquet_fdw, and then you can import directly using "create table x as select" from the parquet foreign tables.

- memset 2y agoThis is true, but how many hosted postgres providers support it?
- int_19h 2y agoSurely that problem is best solved by pushing for support in base Postgres?
- memset 2y ago> Surely I think it would be great if postgres supported parquet out of the box. However I am not sure that this is the "best" solution - it would take years for the data load to finish if we had to wait for that!
