Different countries, different companies, same shit. I have hired a few cars when on trips over the years and always dread the whole upsell crap, then the check for prior damage stuff, then the return etc. So far I have had extremely negative experiences with two of the big name companies and I vote with my feet and go to their competitors, but I’m running out of options… Does anyone know of a ‘good’ car hire company that isn’t out to take advantage of the customer every way they can?
