This is true, a show probably has 10/20 or more thumbnails. Regarding Youtube, YouTubers were already doing it before, but manually. Gray CGP likes to change the title and thumbnails to increase views. For me it's the most obvious case, but only because he has a few videos and they're pretty iconic.
