Opinions- My tolerance for ads in streaming stops after PBS, with their 30s spot promoting PBS content- I'm fine with that. The PBS series Nature is wonderful. Watching TV is a luxury I am generally happy without, and when I do want to watch something I get it from the public library, or I ride out the wave of desire until it subsides. This is yet another reason to not subscribe to or otherwise buy stuff from Amazon. Ads are fine, as a way to pay for all the costs associated with making and distributing media, I get it. It's just not for me, and if anything my point is that it's okay to go without all the things we want.
