The exception DOES indicate that the model could be more accurate to cover cases, but the most important thing is whether the model is useful.
Newtonian physics may be superceded by what we know about quantum physics and relativity, but it still is very useful.
Of course, we should continue to learn and refine our models.
- _aavaa_ 2y agoIt may be useful, but the point is that while the difference between Newtonian physics is good enough for explaining day to day life experiences we wouldn't be able to have GPS without relativity.
