Maybe normalizing society to a four-day work week would make 4-day School weeks successful as well.
A big reason is that kids would get an extra day with parents. In a 5-day work society, 4-day school kids have one day where they're "abandoned" - not being taken care of by either parents or teachers. In a four-day work society, the extra "weekend" day can be spent with parents.

- dagw 2y agoIn a four-day work society, the extra "weekend" day can be spent with parents. Assuming the 'whole world' agrees to take the same day off. A more likely implementation is that you'll keep the traditional 5-day work week, but everybody only work 4 of those 5 days on any given week.
