For me part of the fun of home poker games comes from the tipsy players making mistakes and joking about it. If I want a serious game I go to a casino. Reducing a social activity with poker as the vehicle rather than the goal seems retrograde to me -- the last thing I want to do with a bunch of friends is stare at our phones together.
- phillippcorreia 2y agoI totally agree with you in terms of having friends staring at their mobile phones while being in person and that's exactly what would happen using the existing Poker platforms out there. However, this app is really different because it tries to keep the social experience pretty much the same as it is today in home poker games. Players can leave their mobile phone at the table, focus on having a great chat with their friends and when it is their turn, they perform the actions on their mobile.
