So which is it? 30%? Or 18%? Honestly I think 18% is too high. There's no link to any actual study in this article. It seems like it's a purely propaganda piece. It literally contradicts itself within the article.
EV have an insanely high costs and anthropocentric climate change is likely not happening. Even if it was, every single "green garbage" product that's pushed will consume more energy and cause more environmental damage and waste that just reducing consumption and keeping old tools and vehicles in use longer.

Western governments encourage domestic manufacturers to be uncompetitive with bailouts, regulations and tariffs. > every single "green garbage" product that's pushed will consume more energy and cause more environmental damage and waste that just reducing consumption and keeping old tools and vehicles in use longer. How?
- airhangerf15 2y ago> BYD Seagull EV Honor Edition starts at $9,700 That's not the cost of the car. You here all these stories of "X" bought a Mazda 3 years ago for $42k and now it's out of warranty and the battery replacement is $28k? They're all shocked, but what they don't realize is THE CAR WAS NOT $42k. The US/Canadian/UK government likely subsidized $20k~$30k of the car: the battery. End the subsidizes and people will quickly see the REAL cost of these cars. > How? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQLbakWESkw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQLbakWESkw Electric Cars Aren't As Green As You Think | Adam Ruins Everything
