I've heard him say before that he is mainly successful due to the lucky circumstances of his birth; he's said that he paid very little to attend the UC system despite poor academic performance as an example.
- xhkkffbf 2y agoSo why should we listen to anything he has to say? I mean if it's mainly luck, we're pretty much stuck with the circumstances of our birth. It's not like his wisdom helped him and so it can't help us.
- toomuchtodo 2y agoBecause we can build better systems based on the observations that luck is more material than skill or effort in outcomes.
