One odd thought crossed my mind - most proprietary software you use has a clause prohibiting reverse engineering in the license agreement, and here they are admitting to the world that they routinely ignore said license agreements. Are they making themselves liable for copyright infringement here since they're using the software without a license? How enforceable are those "no reverse engineering" clauses anyway?
